Program and Preview channels

Setting a Channel to "Program" or "Preview" defines the default channel that will be used when taking graphics to air or to preview.

At the bottom left of the Studio interface you will find a couple or more monitors, , each of those monitors represent a Channel of the current profile.

Define program and preview channels

By clicking on each channel, you will see a list of all the outputs that are connected to that channel.
You will also see “Program” and “Preview” toggle buttons. While working in Studio only one channel can be set as a program, and all the other will automatically be set to preview.

The channel set to program is considered by Studio to be the default channel, and any page that is taken in without a channel associated with it will be taken in on the program channel output.
You can see which channel is define as a program by checking the monitors - the monitor of the program channel will be filled
