Search Filters in MediaHub

MediaHub includes an advanced search panel that allows users to filter and locate media files with precision. Each parameter refines search results based on file attributes, size, type, tags, and other criteria.

At the top left, next to the MediaHub logo, you’ll find the search bar.

Beside it, click the Filters button     to open the filter panel and configure the search parameters as needed:

Filter Description Options / Examples
Type Defines the type of media files to include in the search. All Types, Image, Video, Audio, Sequence
Extensions: .jpg, .png, .mov, .mp4
Search Searches by filename or part of a filename. Example: typing logo returns all files containing “logo”.
Size Filters by file size. Operators: Greater Than, Less Than, Equal To
Units: KB, MB, GB
Example: Greater Than 10 MB
Date Created Filters by the creation date of the file. All Times, Last 24 hours, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Custom Range
Tags Filters media by assigned tags. Example: Promo, Sports, Branding
Search Folder Selects which folder(s) to include in the search. All (default) or a specific folder name
Aspect Filters by aspect ratio (width-to-height). Any, 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3
Width Filters by file width (in pixels). Operators: Greater Than, Less Than, Equal To
Example: Width Greater Than 1920
Height Filters by file height (in pixels). Operators: Greater Than, Less Than, Equal To
Example: Height Greater Than 1080
Has Alpha Filters by the presence of an alpha channel (transparency). Any, Yes, No
Clear Resets all filters to default values.
Search Executes the search using the selected filters.

Usage Examples

  • Find all videos larger than 50 MB created in the last 7 days.
  • Search for all images with alpha channel (Has Alpha: Yes) used in branding tags.
  • Locate 16:9 images wider than 1920 px from a specific folder.
