Publish To Remote

The Publish to Remote feature allows you to publish assets or folders from one MediaHub instance to another remote MediaHub server.

How to Publish

  1. Right-click on an asset or folder in the MediaHub browser.
  2. Select Publish To Remote from the context menu. Publish To Remote
  3. In the modal window that appears, enter the remote server details:
    • Server - IP address or hostname of the remote MediaHub
    • Username
    • Password
  4. Select or create the target folder on the remote server where the assets will be published.
  5. Review the summary of assets to be published — each asset displays its status relative to the remote server:
Status Description
Missing Asset does not exist on the remote server
Identical Asset is identical on both servers
Newer Local version is newer than the remote version
Older Local version is older than the remote version
Different Type Asset type mismatch — cannot be published
