Playlist UI
Page Status and Cache Indicators
In this update to the Playlist UI, we have added new visual indicators to help users understand the state of their pages in terms of both status In or out Out on the engines in the channel and if a page is cached. These indicators are located on the left side of each page row in the Playlist.
Page In/Out/Partially In Status The vertical line indicates whether a page is currently In, Out, or Partially In on the engines in the channel:
- In (green line): The page is in the In state on all engines in the channel.
- Partially In (orange line): The page is in the In state on some of the engines in the channel.
- Out (no line): The page is in the Out state on all engines in the channel.
Cache Status The circle next to the vertical line shows the cache status of the page on the engines in the channel:
- Cached: The page is cached on all engines in the channel.
- Partially Cached: The page is cached on some engines in the channel.
- Not Cached: The page is not cached on any engine in the channel.
Page Status and Cache Combinations
There are 9 possible combinations of In/Out/Partial status and cache status, which are displayed with different combinations of the vertical line and dot.
In/Out | Cache | Combination meaning |
---|---|---|
In (green line) | The page is In and Cached. | |
In (green line) | Page is In and Partially Cached. | |
In (green line) | Page is In and Not Cached. | |
Partially In (orange line) | Page is Partially In and Cached. | |
Partially In (orange line) | Page is Partially In and Not Partially Cached. | |

Out (no line) | Page is Out and Cached. | |
Out (no indication) | Page is Out and Partially Cached. | |
Out (no line) | Page is Out and Not Cached. |
By distinguishing between these indicators, you can quickly assess the status of your pages across multiple channels and determine whether any action is required, such as re-caching a page or ensuring it is in the correct In/Out state.
On the screenshot below you may see these statuses,- Page is:

Quick Lookup in Playlists
Erizos Studio has an integrated quick lookup by page ID in the Playlist, allowing users to navigate pages efficiently using the numpad.
With the latest update, Quick Lookup now supports searching across multiple playlists, making it easier to find pages even when they share the same page number across different playlists.
How it Works
- Typing the Page ID: Use the numpad to enter the page ID. If multiple playlists contain pages with the same ID, a list will appear showing all relevant pages.
Order of Results
When multiple pages with the same page ID are found, the items in the list are displayed in the following order:
- Currently Selected Playlist: Pages from the playlist you're currently viewing are shown first.
- Other Open Playlists: Pages from other playlists that are currently open are listed next.
- All Other Playlists: Finally, pages from playlists that are not currently open are displayed.
Selecting a Page
- To select the page you want from the list, click Numpad Add Num +
- If the page is from a playlist that isn’t currently open, selecting it will automatically switch to the playlist where the page is located, replacing the current playlist.
Resetting Your Search
- To reset your search, click Numpad Decimal Point Num .
Exiting Quick Lookup
- To exit the quick lookup mode, click Esc twice Esc Esc
Filtering and Sorting Pages
Filter Pages
Erizos Studio introduces a filtering feature, providing users with a more refined and efficient way to navigate and manage content. With the new filter capabilities, users can easily narrow down their search based on specific criteria. The following filtering options are now available:
- Filter by Name: Users can now search and filter content based on the name assigned to various elements within Erizos Studio. This is particularly useful for quickly locating specific items in large projects.
- Filter by Channel: The new filtering functionality allows users to organize and access content based on the assigned channels. This is beneficial for users working on multi-channel projects, allowing them to focus on content relevant to a specific channel.
- Filter by System Used: Users can categorize and filter content based on the system used in their projects. This feature is valuable for projects that involve different systems, making it easier to manage and differentiate content.
- Filter by Color: Erizos Studio now supports filtering by color, offering a visual categorization method. Users can assign colors to elements, and then filter content based on these color codes. This enhances the visual organization of content, particularly for users who rely on color-coding for project management.
Sort Pages
Users can also Sort the List by clicking on the arrow indicator in the Header of the List.
